NEW RELEASE

Tiny lunar treasures

Irresistably adorable, this coin tells the story of The Great Race with twelve baby animals of the lunar calender on 5oz of pure silver— playful pups, cheerful chicks, and cute cubs and kittens just to name a few!
Long ago in ancient China, the Jade Emperor called for a Great Race to decide the order of the years of the zodiac. The path was no easy one, as each contestant must cross a wide, rushing river. The names of the first twelve animals across were given to each year in the zodiac. And so began the legend of the Chinese zodiac, a tradition that has been followed for over 2,000 years.
