During my graphic design studies in Perth I took up a part-time position in the print industry . The Perth Mint was interested in my allround skill set and the opportunity to join such an historic institution was too good to miss .
WHAT MEMORIES SPRING TO MIND ABOUT YOUR EARLY DAYS AT THE MINT ?
As a self-confessed ‘ bird nerd ’, I was delighted to be asked to design the 2013 Birds of Australia coin series . The great reception the coins received at the launch event gave me confidence that I ’ d definitely chosen the right career .
